Here at Piedmont Rockdale's Hospital, we are seeking a Neuro-Hospitalist in Conyers, GA that is committed to providing high quality and compassionate care to patients. Piedmont Rockdale is a 25-minute reverse commute from Atlanta proper and Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity to help build up our existing neurology program and grow the neurosciences service line with the vision to become the highest quality and largest program in Georgia.
Our neuroscience service line includes neurosurgery, neuro hospitalist and neuro intensivist services with a dedicated stroke/neuro unit and thriving spine and brain tumor programs. A dedicated neuro-ICU unit, contiguous to neuro unit, will be developed in tandem with cerebrovascular program. The Piedmont system encompasses six Primary Stroke Centers and one thrombectomy capable center. This is an opportunity to be part of that growth system-wide.
This opportunity will allow the right candidate to develop and foster the growth of our program and the ability to access state of the art technology. Piedmont cares for over 2,000 medical stroke admissions in the Metro Atlanta area and over 3,000 across the entire system. The candidate will be welcomed by the existing team of neurohospitalist at Piedmont Rockdale and other neuro specialists.
Requirements & Highlights:
· BC/BE Neurology
· MD or DO degree
· APP support
· Tele-Neurology in place
· 7 on/7 off shifts
· Stroke Managers at each location
· Ability to read EEGs is welcomed
