Description
The VP, Ambulatory Pharmacy Operations provides executive-level leadership and strategic direction for ambulatory pharmacy services across Emory Healthcare.
Reporting to the Sr. Vice President of Pharmacy Services, this role is accountable for the full spectrum of ambulatory pharmacy operations - including strategic planning, financial stewardship, clinical program development, regulatory compliance, and operational performance.
The VP partners closely with health system leadership, pharmacy teams, and interdisciplinary stakeholders to advance a high-performing, patient-centered ambulatory pharmacy enterprise that is aligned with Emory Healthcare's mission, quality standards, and growth objectives.

Additional Duties as Assigned
Travel: Travel between Emory operating units and affiliated sites
Work Type: Hybrid employee - may split time between working remotely and working in the office
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Degree in Pharmacy required
- Licensure & Certification: Must be eligible for Georgia Pharmacy Licensure; Georgia license required prior to official start date
- Minimum of six years of leadership-level experience in a progressive academic medical center or similarly complex health system, with a documented record of success
- Extensive ambulatory pharmacy experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Pharmacy, Health Services, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
- 340B Program knowledge preferred
- 7 years experience with at least 5 years in a pharmacy leadership position
