Job description
Position Purpose:
In this position, the Manager of Pricing & Merchandising Analytics will be expected to provide strategic leadership, direction, and analytical guidance to cross-functional merchandising and operational teams across THD, SRS, GMS and Heritage. As a key partner to Pro Acceleration and Merchandising leadership, this role will play a critical part in governing channel pricing architecture, optimizing enterprise margins, and driving data-backed strategies across retail and distribution to achieve key business goals and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing & Margin Governance: Establish multi-tier enterprise pricing ladders, develop enterprise margin dashboards to eliminate profit leakage, and model price elasticity across promotions and bulk discounts.
- Channel Alignment & Conflict Resolution: Create data-backed enterprise playbooks and provide real-time support to field teams to rapidly resolve pricing friction and streamline commercial strategy when retail and distribution channels have inconsistent pricing.
- Analytics & Business Reviews: Provide data-driven recommendations and lead analytical prep for SRS / GMS / THD QBRs and other major meetings.
- Ad Hoc Support: Build custom analyses as needed to address business questions and events across THD, SRS, GMS, and Heritage
Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
- Typically reports to a Director level
- This position has no direct reports.
Travel Requirements:
- Typically requires overnight travel 5% to 20% of the time.
Physical Requirements:
- Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working Conditions:
- Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
