Lead Pharmacy Tech, Days

Overview: Accountable for leading the daily operations of the technician staff assigned as they meet the needs of patients and staff. Provides input to department leadership regarding staff development and performance measures. Responsible for quality improvement, orientation and training, drug distribution, and projects as assigned by department leadership. Functions in accordance with standard written procedures, guidelines, and state and federal regulations. Assists with invoice processing for department as assigned. Provides orientation and training to the pharmacy technician team. Functions in all duties of a Pharmacy Technician. • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required

• 2 years of pharmacy technician practice Required

• PHRMTECH-R - Registered Pharmacy Technician Current registration with the state Board of Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required
• PTCB Certification Preferred
