Workdays: 240 Days

Title: Specialist II, Compensation

 

Position Summary
Performs routine tasks to support the compensation and classification functions, administering salary transactions, and evaluating work experience for salary recommendations. Performs duties with moderate supervision as an intermediate-level individual contributor.

Essential Job Duties
Evaluates employees' work history to determine salary placement and experience credit.
Oversees and tracks employee data and records.
Conducts salary and compensation benchmark analysis to ensure competitive positioning in the market.
Serves as the point of contact for employee salary-related inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
Assists the Human Resources department with various tasks as needed, contributing to team efforts and organizational improvements.
Collaborates with other departments to integrate compensation strategies with overall business objectives.
Maintains confidentiality regarding sensitive employee information
Ensures that all tasks completed comply with all relevant federal, state, and local laws, as well as organizational policies related to compensation and data protection practices.
Coordinates assigned project tasks effectively to meet objectives.
Performs additional duties as assigned.

 Qualifications
High school diploma required.
An Associate's degree or equivalent completed college coursework from a Professional Standards Commission-approved accredited college or university is preferred.
Minimum three (3) years of related industry experience is required.
