Performs venipunctures at entities where applicable, and obtains/prepares blood specimens in accordance with Piedmont policies and procedures. Assists technical staff in non-clinical tasks. Qualifications: Education
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
- No experience required Required
- 1 year of experience as a phlebotomist Preferred
- Experience in performing EKGs Preferred
- Experience working in healthcare or clinical laboratory setting Preferred
- None Required
- CPT - Phlebotomy Technician Certification Phlebotomy certification through ASCP, ASPT, NCA or equivalent agency Preferred
