Walkable Jobs

Terms of service

Last updated

Thanks for using WalkableJobs. These terms are short because the site is simple: it shows jobs near where you live. Using the site means you agree to them.

When we say “we”, we mean WalkableJobs. “You” is anyone using the site. You can reach us at hello@walkablejobs.com.

Using the site

The site is free. Use it as a person looking for work, or to help someone who is. Do not run automated tools against it or copy its listings in bulk. Our server limits how many requests one network address can make and refuses the rest, and we may block anyone who abuses the site.

The listings

The jobs on the map come from employers’ own career sites. We collect them, place them on the map and show the details the employer published. We are not the employer and we do not handle applications: the apply button takes you to the employer’s site, and what happens there is between you and them.

A listing can be out of date or wrong about pay or location. If you spot one, report it from the listing and we will look. The distance shown is a straight line from the point you set, so check the route before you count on it.

What you send us

Anything you send through a form, whether a message, a report or a waitlist email, you allow us to store and use to run and improve the site, as the privacy policy describes. It stays yours.

What is ours

The site’s design, code and the way it puts listings on a map are ours. Do not copy them without asking. Map tiles are © CARTO and © OpenStreetMap contributors. Job details belong to the employers who published them.

Changes to the site

We may change or remove any part of the site at any time, with or without notice. We do not promise the site will be available, free of errors or right for what you need.

Liability

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or from relying on a listing, including a job that turns out to be filled, to pay differently or to be further away than it looked.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Georgia, United States.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. When we do, the date at the top of this page changes with them, and using the site after that means you accept the new terms.
