Facilitating patient care by assisting the physician during surgery in the Operating Room (OR) for multiple specialties, performing technical and some patient care duties under the direction of a Registered Nurse. Functions as a clinical specialist across numerous service specialty lines. Assumes additional responsibilities for maintaining surgical specialties as necessary and serves as a resource. Functions on a more global level and is more involved in detailed surgical endeavors related to the surgery department.

Qualifications: Education
- H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required and
- Graduate of a Surgical Technology Program or LPN program Required
- 3 years of expereince and Surgical Tech Certification Required or
- In lieu of degree 7 years of experience can be substituted for certification for a total requirement of 10 years of Surgical Tech experience. Required
- BCLS - Basic Life Support Upon Hire Required and
- LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure Current GA LPN License, if applicable Upon Hire Required or
- CST - Certified Surgical Technologist Upon Hire Required
